Making A 6X2X2 Tank Stand

hi there just bought a 6x2x2 fish tank and need to build a stand for it can somebody please help me on what materials to build it from was thinking 2x2 or 2x4 frame then some 18mm mdf for the top bottom and back will use some thinner mdf for the font and doors will this be strong enough please help me

No idea mate, i am considering doing the same for a planned 5x2x2. Thinking of using something like 3x3 and some Ply wood then using MDF for doors and shelves. ?

2x2 is plenty, 5 uprights front and back including corners and ply on top. lots of vids on building stands on youtube iirc

build a sturdy frame around kitchen cabinets i would use 2x2 personally

He didnt mention a sump so i didnt factor it in
