After testing last night I got the following results concerned about my KH so have stopped buffering my Mag at what level is KH safe please?

KH - sea water runs at 10 kh
Cal - sea water runs at 400
Mag - sea water runs at 1200

Mag needs to be at 1350ppm before you can manage to get alk and calcium stable.

Once at 1350ppm which can take a while (half a tub of TMC for me), you can get calc ok. That only wants to go up to about 420-430 to be mid range.

The alk will be ok if it stays at that, you want 9-11 DKH to be ideal.

Alk atm, is fine, it is perfectly mid range.

Thanks T was a bit worried have another mag booster at the moment hopefully will leave other stats as they are ;)

The mag supplement will not be changing the other levels so to speak, they will be changing because the mag is not stable. Get the mag stable first, others will change as you are doing this, because they will not be stable until mag is.
