Should deffinately look good once it's filled out. Interesting about the cutting technique - makes sense i guess! Hope you're keeping the cuttings to fill the small gaps you have in your carpet

I have grown moss for a while now, and it sure dose grow best when trimed regularly, it also helps if you start off with the whole of your rocks more or less completly coverd with a thin layer of moss.

If I where you I would re-tie what you have to make the most of it, or what you cut off, tie to the stones to cover the exposed rocks and go from there.

Yes thats what i plan to do, you cant see it in the pic but just to the left i have a massive clump of moss that ive just cut from my main tank again, just wanted to show the original mosses growth before adding extra moss to it. Still want a bit of exposed stone though i think but im not sure yet.
