i was taking some pics of my tank, and seen my lambchop rasboras in a tight shoal so i thought ooo i should take a pic then i realised one of them was missing an eye and had a bit of blood on him, i should have remembered that they huddle all tightly together when feeling threatened or in danger...
i was feeding bloodworm and all my fish go mad for it and i think the betta injured him in the feeding frenzy, so i had to fish him out the poor little guy was gasping for air and leaning to one side. thank gosh those fish are easily replacable though :) lol

Woops, well at least you know there's no disease or bacteria that needs seeing to :)

yeahh, at first i thought it had popeye whatever its called disease lol :p! but it was pretty obvious what had happened

I would not be too eager to attribute the injury to your betta. In most cases a betta is a peaceful, even timid, member of most community tanks.

well i was feeding using a pipette and holding it slightly above the water and all of my fish were going crazy, jumping at it at the same time and the betta was there and he was pretty keen on getting the bloodworm so i just thought maybe they both went for it at the same time and he accidentally caught the other fish, not 100% sure of it though
