Anoles
House gecko
crocodile gecko
Of course you can't handle any of these because they are so small that they just dark out of your hand and you'll never see them again. It's also bad for their skin.
I would suggest Leopard Geckos. There a great size, you can handle them, and very easy to care for.
I bred them for a few years. I made a page with info and pictures: http/www.geocities.com/elgecko1989/geckos.html
I decided either 2 anoles or 2 leporad geckos( can 2 species be housed together?)
what kinda hiding spots and bedding is good
I have to talk it over with my dad It'd be cool.(We already have a tarantula.) http/www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/NavR...000&N=2006+2008
Leapord geckos reach at least 8 inches as adults, usually more. In my opinion having them in a 2 foot tank wouldbe cruel. And since they can't stick to the glass and are always on the ground, they should have more room then that. Young ones would be fine but I think you should get at least a 3 foot tank for adults.
Leopard Geckos are so funny to watch.
My uncle has a pair of geckos that live behind his fridge in the coils.
Whenever we visit them in India they are there peeking out and catching the occasional flies, raoches and bugs.
I took the information for a book.
Myself I would most likey only keep 1 Leopard Gecko in a 10 gallon tank.
I used play sand for my bedding.
Most pet stores carry hollow stones that can be used for hiding places. I also used rubbermaid containers turned upside down. I used a circular saw to make a hole for the lizards to enter. I also used spay glue on the out side of the container and covered it with sand. If you look at my website, the page on lizards, the right hand side of the tank has 2 of the rubbermaid containers side by side.
