Live Sand Into A Freshwater Aquarium?

Could you put live sand into a freshwater pico to make it already cycled? or could you put marine filter floss into a freshwater filter for it to be cycled instantly? I ask this because it has all of the beneficial bacteria.

The bacteria is totally different from saltwater to freshwater. They would all die and it would do no good whatsoever.
