hi,
is there any way i would be able to get brackets for my aquamedic chromis lighting system as we are unable to get it onto the ceiling? Would normal wooden brackets drilled into the wall work sufficient?
thanks

You'd want to either use drywall anchors or screw it into studs. Be sure the drywall anchors can support the weight of the light, they make them up to 50lbs i believe.

You can buy metal halide hanging brackets no probs,

I found this pic as an example

that would be perfect but the only 1's like that i can find are £40.00 which are really pricey for brackets :S
thanks

This is what i use, I can move the light up and down with one hand. Makes it very easy to work in the tank
