LFS conspiracy

in the lfs I work, we only get what the supplier sends us - if we order 15 guppies, we only get what we are given. we cant request any specific gender from them. why not find out who the suppliers are and contact them directly?

i've tried to contact suppliers and fish farm.
but they claim they themselves are out of stock.

I absolutley stand by the tiltle of this thread it is a conspiracy and i think most breeders such as myself proberbly would know more than the non breeders simply because usually female fish are far less colourful than the male therefore would hold little value for some fishkeepers.

I do understand that some fish shops do stock females of most species but i wonder how many of them come from a farm or imported and how many are the result of local amature breeding where the breeders dont want to or have time to or dont feel the need to seperate them?.
