Lets See If This 1 Is Any More Fruitful

whe the 1st spawn from my discus turned out to be infertile and went mouldy i removed the eggs as they werent interested in eating them. this was a few days ago. literally sometime since i got back from work they have spawned again!! didnt get to watch the eggs actually being laid so couldnt see if they got fertilised......... time will tell .

well nope this ones is a non starter too . didnt even get to see if they were fertile or not as i had a bit of a "situation" i noticed that one of the filters was barely running at a trickle so i disconnected it , had it all apart and it was nice and clean. impellar was good too. so i though maybe its the pipes blocked up with sludge. so i took them out , ( no mean feat let me tell you!) and sure enough they were clogged up solid with 18 months worth of gunk. over to the tap to flush em thru i thought . long story short ..... it didnt go well i got covered in brown gunk when i blasted em thru , everything got wet , i got moaned at , stubbed my toe , and trashed the eggs

oh and by teh time id finished tank was a total mess so i had to clean the sand and do a 50% waterchange ..

after all this you just know its gonna turn out to be 2 females too
