Well, what can I say. Have been asking for a while now about dwarf cichlids. The answers I got now makes sence.

Members suggested kribs or this or that but I was looking for a mixture of cichlids or Rams maybe. Now I realise that most people have a breeding pair of small cichlids then top it of with some other fish. Now I am really stuck.

I have sort of achieved the look I wanted (when the Java grows up) but can't have the fish that I wanted.

I want fish stock that will fill the tank with colour and movement in and out of the rocks. (not big enough for Malawis but that sort of look)

This whole set-up cost me £100 total. (bargain, eh?) It has been cycled for 4 days now and I'm running out of ammonia!

Please help with suggestions of complete stocking before Mrs D finds out that I have ****ed up!

Here's the tank, details of it and my others in my sig>

How about Glowligh Neons?

Do you want breeding to go on in this tank?

Neolamprologus brichardi <-- There nice. A lil shy but very nice and breed and can be in a community, just not sure what to mix them with, still finding that out *looking at them myself:)*

Or erm...
Killifish?

No, not looking to breed especially. The Neolamprologus brichardi is probably best as a specimen in a tank. Looking for something a bit larger than Killifish.

Thanks for the input, so much more useful than the previous member's post to your's

Denisonii Barb would be good for what you'd like, but that tank is way too small.

Leopard Danios?

If you looking for colour, I'd say Tetra's are your best bet...

Could try
Rummy Nose Tetra
Penquin Tetra
Cardinal Tetra

Not sure how they'd do with eachother.

Lots of color in kribensis. I'm afraid that a reasonable number won't come close to filling the tank.

Shell dwellers are tiny, and too delicate to keep with community fish. What I wouldn't do to get my hands on some though!

Umm... longfin rosy barbs? REALLY active fish, and very colourful and flashy.
