On the smaller box of laterite it claims to have 20 oz of laterite, but when I actually measured it out it was only 13 oz. Has anyone ever noticed this or measured their laterite?

If it really does have less than advertised, take it back and ask for a refund. In the UK at least, and I assume elsewhere, you have statutory rights that cover this sort of thing.

You might alternatively write to the manufacturer. Most are very good at righting accidental wrongs like this, and will send you a replacement as well as a refund.

Cheers,

Neale

Yeah, if they are anything like Tetra they will send you loads of stuff. They send me a box of delicia stuff, betta food, tropical flake, babymin powder and some dechlor for free because my food tub from lfs was half full :/

The 20 oz. is weight not volume as in a measuring cup. Did you put it on a scale or pour it into a measuring cup to come up with your 13 oz. number?

this bag was pretty empty, at least half. The machines probably just made a mistake so I took it to the petstore I bought it at and they exchanged it for another one. Yah, I measured it w/ electronic scale.
