Yep customers are a right pain!!
i'ved been working in my LFS for 2/3 months now and there's been a few cases.
1 customer insisted that iwas burning the skin on goldifsh when i lifted it from the net to the bag, my hands were wet so it was fine, my boss backed me up on this yet the customer still brought it up on the next visit. worth thing is she literally grabs u and shouts right in your ear.
a young boy today (with his parents) bought a RTBS to go with his lobster, i warned him of whats going to happen but he still wanted the fish so I just sold him a really manky looking one. It was end of the day I didn't feel like having a arguement. The kid had been in a week before though stating he had a lobster in a water world (those small plastic 5g's) and he added neons which got eaten. I told him the cold true facts and his face dropped. On the weekend his parents came with him to buy a new tank, Rekord 96. So atleast he took some of my previous advice and got a bigger tank.
I don't question all customers but if say they ask for a common or sailfin plec i state they get huge and suggest another plec.
Some customers can really wear you down though.
