Killer Fish?

are the clown loach in the 10 gall because ideally thats too small so they may get aggressive due to cramped space

Yeah the clown loach are in the 10gall. they seem quite happy and I have had them for awhile. I have been getting all my advice from the shop where I buy the fish and they gave me the okay on everything I've done.

And they will do because the more fish and things they can sell to you the better it is for them. Until i came here, i hardly knew anything about fishkeeping and i'm so glad i don't rely on my lfs/lps anymore for advice as if i had taken their advice i would have ended up messing up so bad; by the time i had come here, i had been sold so many unsuitable fish for my tanks from various lfs's up until that point that unless i had come here i probably would have ended up with 10 chinese algae eaters, a red tailed catfish and 5 common plecos tec. I bet they didn't tell you about how agressive gold gourami's can be or that mollys grow too active and large for a 10gal etc?
They are like car sales men, they will sell anything to you for as much as posible given half a chance- they are not obliged to tell you about how to care for the fish or use the equipment/gear they sell you etc just as much as supermarkets and takeaways are not obliged to tell you how to lead a healthy lifestyle and diet, or how car sales men are not obliged tell you how to be a good driver (unless it means they can sell you the car lol) etc.

I agree with lugue, clown loaches (although very slow growing fish) are too big for a 10gal with a potential size of 12inches+ long;

Thanks for your comments, I won't be so gullible in future when I buy anymore fish. Will have to make sure I know more about what I'm doing and get advice from here rather than the shops.
