Hi Cathy.

Keyhole's are a great Cichlid, I have 6. They are undoubtably my favorite personal fish.
I'd get a pair at least. I'd stick my neck and say they'd prefer to be in least a pair. I started off with a pair, and then added 4 a year later. They are very peaceful, but as with all Cichlids can become aggressive when spawning.

I imagine they'd be fine with your current stock. They should be okay with mature guppies, but babies would be eaten.

Here's a little information article on them: Click Me!

p.s this is in the right Cichlid forum, Keyhole's are indeed a NW Cichlid (unless a mod has moved it for you)

I started with 2 and they were very active, personable fish. Sadly 1 died so now the remaining one is shy.

And a note on the size, captive bred Keyholes reach 3-4 inchs, wild caught ones can reach 6
