I spend way too much camera time with my Bichirs, Gars, Oscars and Dats.
Today I spent a whole hour in the "channa" room, taking photos. It was a nice change for me, and I started to appreciate them a lot more.
Anyhow, I managed to get some decent pics of my now growing Channa Redfins (called "Kabuki Snakehead" here in Japan), as well as a few nice pics of other SHs.

Enjoy please:

very nice mate gorgeous fish lovely colours :good:
ive got a 5" channa marulia :good:

Nice one bud!
You have joined the SH club with quite a monster!

Many moons ago I got a trio of marulia at about 6" or so, they went in a tank with 4 Dats and 2 Oscars (all very big) and were no longer to be seen.
Lessons learned I guess!

What are you keeping your marulia with?

12" channel cat
12"gold giant gourami
18" marbled clarias catfish
12" gibby
13"common plec this one is getting moved
there is laods of cichlids in there at the mo but they are coming out in the next day or so as ive just got another 500L tank and another smaller one on the way so this is going to be my oddball setup for a few months untill i can payoff my upgrade tank 8x3x3 :good: :good:

its quite timid at the moment (i know it wont last lol) and it does its own thing pottering around the tank not bothering anyone ive even still got a 1" pristella tetra in there and it is scared of it at the mo which is quite funny lol :good:

thay are stunning too :good:

i have also done alot of research on these and im still doing it

Nice, but a bit dangerous for your marulia?
Saying that, often these things have a habbit of just "working out"!
Good luck m8.
