We where discussing tank hoods recently (me and the missus) because at the moment we cheat with lighting... And yeah - I might get a blue background...

Umm my fish also did this but it was because there was a large vibration.

Also how long do you keep your light on?

may be they were all sleeping. my fish would sleep in the day due to me turning the light on at 8:30am then turn it off at around 9am. but i would stay up until 1am with my tv and lights on so they were really not getting allot of night time sleeping.

so in the day when they slept the would group together and sleep.
