Just To Say Hi!

I have four Bettas left from my dozens I had at the first of the year. If I could do something wrong I did it.

But they wanted to say hi! so I took a few quick snaps before the card filled up. They aren't so good but oh well....

Fynn of Distinction

For some reason the neighbor's lighting was better and his pics a little better. The main difference is Fynn has the funny fin with the spines sticking up.

I was trying to get his flair to show up. Oh well

These two come to the divider and do the Betta dance whenever I come near. Pausing every so often to flair at one another. Like 2 mirror images. I get a giggle

That last beard pic is a really good closeup. I like the red coloring on both. Handsome boys! And I love the little one with the pea.

The last picture of that betta.. is he supposed to look like that?

Which one? The very last pic is a girl. The one before who is in the bowl is special=she has a kinked spine. Lips with the pea as an adult looked like Synirr's avitar, but he jumped a week or two ago. The first two boys who look alike, one is several attempts to get him flaring, so his head looks misshapen. I'm sorry the pics are too big, and I will work on them tonight (12 or so hours from now.) In time I will take the time to take some good pics of them. I just took a few and didn't take much time. Really none of them turned out very good. Serves me right for teasing raeburter.

But as you may see from the older photos, I can take a reasonable pic.

Pretty much. Not a great pic. She's gettng over some fungus.

Oh.. poor thing.. I guess I just never realized that females had really big faces sometimes, unless its the fungus, heh

The fungus is almost gone. She is recovering, although she's a little sluggish today. I think she wants some tank attention, as do the boys. I find the small filtered tanks to be a major pain to do water changes. The syphons just don't work that well and the tanks are clumsy to move.

But she is a good sized girl.
