Just To Check: Is My Aquarium Safe?

They're bred in ponds in Florida. They are tropical fish, needing warmer water, so the usual pond in a cooler climate with seasonal temperature changes won't do.

If you live in an area that is warmer year round it will work.

Will it just make a mess and then die before it gets to big or will it eat my fish?

Common plecs live a long life and will make masses of mess as it grows, you will be best rehoming it now before it gets too big otherwise you will struggle.

you are way overstocked in both tanks - you need that upgrade sooner than christmas!

Agreed with indigo.

In the 60l it would be fully stocked with...
2 x Molly 12
1 x Platy 2
2 x Guppy 3
5 x Neons

So everything on top of that is making it overstocked...which is...
1 Pleco
1 Sucking Loach
2 Clown Loach
2 Silver Sharks
3 Neon Tetra

In the 50l it is overstocked, but that isn't the only problem. Another problem is the fish are just totally wrong for that tank.
Pleco - Grows too big
Barbs - Grow too big (poss end up with agression issues)
Danios - Far too active for such a small tank
Gouramis - IMO you could only comfortably keep 1 in that sized tank, with two you are likely to encounter agression issues. (Unless they are honey gouramis)

Hi.

Just thought i should give my advice

TANK 1 -(60L)
1 Pleco- remove it will get too big, also too messy.
1 Sucking Loach- will get big (you know that)
1 Black Lytail Mollie- fine
1 White Mollie-fine
1 Platy-fine,but needs friends
2 Female Guppies (Male died gotta get another when next go Hollybush)-you will have even more guppies!
2 Clown Loach- too big
2 Silver Sharks- way too big
4 Zebra Danio- fine
8 Neon Tetra- fine

Tank 2 - 50l

1 Pleco- way too big in the future, too messy!
2 Gouramis- fine
4 Tiger Barbs- need 2 more to stop fin biting but your tank is too small
4 Zebra Danio -fine

Hope that helps!

I agree with most of what betta said apart from the danios, they are extremely active and personally I wouldnt put them in anything less than a 30g as there simply isnt enough swimming space to satisfy them

Whether the gouramis are ok or not depends on the type of gourami!
