Just thought I'd post a pic of the tank so far. It's been up for 3 months now and is coming along great.

What fish do you have in there? And did you get those plants from eBay?

The plants are from the aquarium i work I'n there's some aelodia densa an amazon sword and two others which i don't know the names of. The red one is called alternanthera cardiinalis and i also have lilaeopsisnovea-zeelandiae. I got these from maidenhead.
I'n terms of fish i have about 15 neons a black sailfin Molly 2 checkerboard discus 2 redwag plates a rainbow platty 4 head and tail lights 2 cories and a bristle nose. Very busy tank i know. Looks great tho.
For my filter i am using the ordinary powerhear what came with the tank and running it out of the tank through a pond filter so shouldn't ever have to clean it as the sponges are designed for ponds with big koi I'n.
I'm suprised the plants do as well as they are as i don't inject no co2 into the system.

Really nice I love the black gravel. The more I see other peoples tanks the more mine looks rubbish.

Haha thanks. I'm sure yours isn't rubbish. It's black glazed gravel and is about 3-4 inches deep. I havnt dealt put much effort into the tank just threw some plants I'n and let them get on with it. Besides weekly waterchanges that's all i do to the tank to keep it upto scratch. Thanks for the comments
