WOW thats a lot of babies you have there congrats . What are you planning on doing with them i have heard they are very slow growers dont know if there is any truth in that though. I had a pair of dolphins which would regularly breed but she always spat the eggs after a few days ,i guess she liked her food too much

I've no idea what I'm going to do with them tbh. As they are my first I'm just going to try to grow them on to a decent size and then distribute. I don't want to keep any as I've got a shopping list of new fish

Yeah i had some from the same fish as cheffi has now and they grew very very slow anyways had a bit of a mishap with that bunch when i added a mother yellow lab who spit her babies and ate the morii fry (little bugger) but yes they were very small even at a month old whereas i have recently sold my lab fry (about 5 months old) that were all about 1.5". When they spawned for me i only got like 10 every other time she swallowed them.

Thanks Ginge. Hopefully I'll end up with some as there's nothing else holding atm so they have the tank to themselves. There's still 4 lab fry in the tank with the big boys. They must be coming up to an inch and getting braver by the day they come right up to the glass before they dart back in the rocks. Got all their black bits on their fins.
