Hi all,

I bought some java moss online a week ago and I tied it to the stainless steel mesh the seller provided. Just wanted to check I've done it right and it hasn't died but does appeared to have grown either.

Do I just spread it over on one side of the mesh? I aligned them horizontally onto the mesh then tied them down using cotton. Is this correct?

Thanks!

Yeah providing its not too tight it should be fine, very slow growing plant tho.

thanks! didn't realise it's a slow grower. Tied to my bogwood, coconut cave, and spread it thinly on the mesh now.

Also I just realised I purchased flame moss not java moss, which I read is an even slower grower!

thanks again

I had moss that for about a 3 weeks with CO2, frets and lights didn't seem to grow then al of a sudden it rally grew out. Unfortunately I lost it all when my lights failed when I was away :(
