light: day light.
photo period: as long as the suns up
filter: none

plants: 5 plantlets of  Microsorum pteropus (java fern)

and now for pics =D

i might upgrade the bottle in the future to a 2L bottle

i might well do more plants in bottles if this works, maybe a crypt bottle

OMG this is EPIC, why not have the bottle on its base and put vallis in there? that would look epic like a 2Ltr bottle just full of vallis

i may even give that ago :p one thing how would you get flow? so not to get algae?

That sounds interesting. I'll keep an eye on this thread. :)

i microwaved to top soil so algae shouldent be to much of a problem, the bottles not full of water, its growing emersed  or would be so any algae wont be a problem

thats what i am worried with mine algae as i'm doing submersed flow is key i think, btw how did you get it into the tank, and how do you do maintenance on it? i think i may have a problem with my lying down bottle :S may haft to cut a hole in it some where not sure yet :S

why? and i poked them in with long tweezers if thats what you mean, as for the soil, i used a funnel

Why did I read this thread and automatically sing it in a sting like way?

Looking good :D

Is the bottle top off or on Mike?

I fear that this will end in mush in a few weeks time, but I hope it doesn't! Good luck with it mate!
