I've Added Filter Media To My Filter

hi, i'm currently doing a fish less cycle, some one from bounty (a mother and baby site) has sent me her filter media as she's getting rid of her tank, i've taken my filter apart and have added this to my sponges inside, will this help. thanks

it was in a fruit shoot bottle and looks like she squeezed the sponges as it was brown in the bottle but with water so i put it in the filter casing and then put my sponges back in it so the sponges were submerged in the water

Cross your fingers! If the bacteria have stayed alive then you should be able to notice an improvement in the speed of your cycle pretty soon. Good luck!

Agree with moose, the mature media can't hurt and has a good chance of helping the speed of your fishless cycle.
