Hi all

my 21 litre hexagonal tank is cycling and now im just looking for a fish that could go in the tank

my ideas are a colourful betta or a cute dwarf puffer, i just dont know lol
if anyone else has an idea one what i should get or one of these 2 then it will help me make my mind up

How about... High tech planted shrimp set-up?
Other than that it'd have to be a male betta for me.

im not to keen on shrimps apart from some of the new strains espically the black & white ones that were in the PFK mag

if i had to choose between betta & shrimp its deffo betta!

Do you mean Crystal Black shrimps? If so they aren't a new strain.

I really would give shrimp a second look.

I have had both and both are fantastic, with great personalities. It depends if you want a visually stunning fish or a zipping crazy bumblebee? I have found them both to have personalities to individuals, just make a note that puffs are messy little guys and will need a staple of meaty frozen foods, whereas the betta will need a mix diet of peas, pellets and frozen foods.
