Hello,

just came home from work just to find that my tank has exploaded and all my fish where lying on the floor dead.
My apartment is full with water. My fish are dead.

I guess that's the end of my fish keeping hobby.

I don't know, I am very sad that my fishes died. I loved them so much, the angel meant especially a lot to me.

Thank you everyone, but I don't know if i want to continue, with all the death of the fish etc.
It was nice tough.

It takes so much time to clean up the water that bursted out too.

Oh no don't give up on the hobby unless u r really sure. If u do decide to keep doing it think of it as a new start you will have a blank canvas.

Im sorry to hear what happened, one of my tanks cracked last year, but luckily I was here and managed to save the fish and got a lot of the water out before it leaked all over the place, but a 1/3rd of the water from the tank did end up all over the floor and that took some cleaning up, so I can imagine what your place must look like.

Again really sorry that you lost all your fish and hope one day soon you will be able to say yes I want fish again, what ever you decide good luck,

I know a little how you feel as I lost all my fish from a 350L long established community in horrible way when I was 18, it took years to get the courage to keep fish again, glad I did but i understand that it might take you a while to get over what's happened today

I'm so sorry for your losses, and all that sad clean up work you have to do!

If there is still a chance that your filter media is usable, place it in some dechlorinated water (add some ammonia or fish food), you may need it if you decide to go out and get another tank tomorrow, if you have the funds to do so!

You could give another angel a good home!

I cancelled my order, it cost a lot. I had to sell a TV and a MBP to get it.
To face the facts, I am probably a really bad fishkeeper. It's my fault that this happened, I should've cared more about them.

If I buy a new tank again, I am going to relearn everything. I might as well just start now...

My Dad swore 20 years ago that he'd given up on fish for good ... I gave him my old 2ft tank and he's had 5 young gold barbs a week now and he's enjoying being back in the hobby. Don't give up
