hey guys wondering...
i popped into a few lfs and asked how much they were selling cardinal tetras for?
a few replied $7 each, $5 each, found a bloke who would give me a deal of $3 each if u buy 50...of course i thought great $150 cardinals for 50 of them!!! will look great with my discuss.

was wondering is 50 cardinals to much to add all in one hit?
is it any stress for my other discuss and a few plecs ghost knifes etc...

Mate how big is your tank?
whats filteration like? you may have to preform so small every other day waterchange's until you filter catches up with the new load..

he only has a 200L tank which is pàossibly already overstocked, adding so many cardinals i think is not a good idea
i believe he already has in there a 12" bala, 5 discus, a brisltnose, a gibbycep, corys, a BGK erm think that was it

In which case you can add them, but dont expect them to survive long, the ghost, discus and possibly bala will make light work of them, expensive snack food.

The ghost might not, my big guy never touched any small fish. He even had baby kribs living in his pipe with him. But like everyone says the tank is way overstocked so its not a good idea.

i have to agree, seems like a bad idea...also youre in the new world cichlid section...
