So, in November i notice that my BGKF fins are not as usually, it is looking like tassel. So, i quarantine him because i’m scared if it’s a disease that could spread around it might got to his friend, another BGKF.

i gave him Methylene Blue and Arciflavine bath every other day and wait. After two weeks most of his fins are recovered, his pectoral which is very very torn apart at that time even healed and grew back to normal, the fin under him, too, the one looking like tassel. But his tail though, it is so torn apart to the point where what’s left if the only white part closest to his body.

his tail haven’t fully grew back even after 2 weeks of quarantine, but i notice some transparent looking part did grow.

because he is eating again and looking way more active i put him back to his tank with his friend, he’s acting all normal.

but just last night i notice this black part on his tail which worry me.

my question is, is it normal, is it the black ring from his tail growing back (finally) or is it something else that needs to be treated with medications?

please help me,
thank you very much

To add more details the transparent part i was talking about is still there, it’s like the black part growing inside that transparent part of his tail.

I hope this video helps
I am going to need some better pictures
i hope these pics are better, or i might have to get him and take a closer pic because he’s such a shy guy. If i wait for him to come out i have to turn off the lights.
