hello. i have a 20 gallon saltwater tank. 20 lbs of crushed coral and live rock. about 7-9 snails and 7-9 hermit crabs, 2 false clown fish and a red skunk shrimp (all fish and shrimp are babys) and i just recently bought a power head, with the output of 600 gallons per hour. when i turned it on my fish stayed in this one corner, fighting the current and looking for a place to hide. when i turned it off they where normal and stayed in the middle of the tank and did there normal swimming. i dont know weather i got a power head that was too big for my tank or not (by the way it is 20 g. tall wise, not long) so i turned it off for now. what should i do?

Hi, not sure on how many answers you will get here, try posting in the Saltwater discussion forum, lower down.

I know nowt about saltwater, but I imagine if the fish are being blown around by the current and hiding in one corner, then its too powerful, can it be angled so it doesnt do this? Like I say, try the saltwater or ask a Moderator to move this topic for you :)
