Is my platty about to give birth?

I've put her in the breeding box thing becuase she looks as if she is going to blow up any second!. She's got a male companion that has always followed her, but yeah she didnt look half as big not long ago.

If she is pregnant, when would she look as she is going to give birth to fry ?, I never platty's pregnant before so I cant tell. I Cant leave her outside because it's like 8 platties and 2 angels, betta, etc.. that will love to have a snack of the fry

SO the best thing is to leave her there overnight ? not sure what to do as i've neve had a pregnant platy before.

She seems prett big, and has a black sort of mark right near the anal fin and is squarish compared to the normal looking platties.

Well cant wait.

i would say she has a little way to go as the gravid isnt totally black yet but looks like there is going to be loads when they come

yup I realised, so I left her out, the gravid spot is not black as yet still pretty clear.
