i dont really have room for them, well not 70 anyway untill my new tank is cycled

they are so cute lol. we only had 2 die during the birth and all survived over night

i only noticed something was happening by chance, she was in the corner of the tank on her own and lookinf closer she had a yellow membrain type thing coming out of her, moved her to the breeding net and within 5 mins babys were coming thick and fast. took her about 1 hour to have all the babys

yeah theres loads of different colours in there. i have a 60L tank im cycling at the moment which will hold my breeding bristle nose plecs once ready, they will be going in there untill i can sort something else out

updated pic of the baby mollys, now almost a week old

Had to transfer them into a net breeding trap as some managed to get out of the other trap and be eaten by the other fish

ive lost a few for some reason over the first few days which is expected i spose but the remaining fry are feeding well, active and look healthy

out of the original 90 ish fry we are now down to between 40-50 (so fast they are hard to count and photograph)

congratulations, i just had my first ever babies tonight, was up to 15 about 10 mins ago(platys) and i dont know about you but i am so excited,
again many congratulations

it is exciting shelaghfishface, my molly took an hour to have all 90 babys ..... i sat there and watched most of the births lol thought it was absolutely amazing thing to watch
