Is It Possible To Love Yor Fish To Much?

hi all

im wandering if anyone else gets these feelings when something is happening to there fish.

im currently single and very close to my swimming friends, and they mean the world to me.

lately 1 of them has been poorly ( fin rot ) and i have been sleeping next to the tank, just to observe any unusual behaviour. I want to be there if he takes a turn for the worse

I am so worried about the situation, my boyfriend has left me and i am in pieces

am i worrying about nothing?
