Is it ok if my shark eats algea wafer? I guess he like them. Is it ok?

My Oscar always tries to steal them from the catfish, I'll lure him to the other side of the tank, quick throw one in the catfish's direction and Bam! the oscars got it in his mouth, most of the time swallowing it whole
