Introducing Myself

Hi all..
I just joined your forum... and wanted to say hi..
I have been into fish seriously for about 11 years now.. I built ponds when I lived in New Jersey... I also had a fresh water 45 gallon tank for about 5 years there. Gorwoing up my dad always had fish. I now live in Arizona (for the past 1 1/2 years) and I just finsihed building my dream home in July 2005 and I have a 215 gallon tank built into the wall... It is 7' X 2' X 2' and it is my first Salt Water Tank... I started it up in October 2005.
Behind the tank is my fish tank room... where I have the two filters and pumps and the uv light... All the pipes come out of the bottom of the tank..
I will be finishing up a 1,000 gallon liner pond this spring and hope to start on my large shotcrete Pond next winter.. THat one will be between 5- 10 thousand gallons big and will have a 10' X 10' island in the middle.

Huntnikk! That sounds like an excellent tank and I'd love to see pics!

Why not post them on the chit chat thread (make sure you link to it from the marine thread too - those guys will be so jealous!!!

we love to see peoples pics here so make sure you post some of your fish room too!

Good to see someone with lots of experience joining us so I've got someone else I can badger with questions.

Its a concrete pond basically but you shot the concrete onto the surface different thickness and PSI is used.. like what they do to pools..
