In Cancun, Came Across This. What Is It?

Came across this fish. It was huge, at least 4 feet. The images don't show it justice, but it's torso was as big as mine.

Looks like a grouper of some sort to me, but I can't be sure.

The pic on ethe right almost looks like a parrot fish which  see a lot in mexico.
