Importing Fish

Hi' Guy's ,

Has anyone done this before? theres some nice fish in the states that i wouldnt mind , they can be shipped tot he UK but confused on how to do it and not sure of the costs /risks involved. I've emailed the person selling the fish to check he can import and got the following reply. Any ideas?

i have shipped to the U.K in the past and can ship there now.
I prefer shipping through the airport because it's faster and safer for the fish.
Do you have a broker to assist you with clearing at the time of arrival? Or, are you planning to clear the fish yourself upon arrival ?

As far as i'm aware he will send indivudal items out to people accross the water and i'd be after a few fish of him.

Maybe thats what i'm hoping to find out lol im after some rare fish and cannot seem to get them in the UK and cannot seem to see anywhere in mainland europe that sells them either.

I really want Polypterus Teugelsi along with a few other Polypterus's but Teugelsi is the main one.

I'd also fancy a wild female Jag cichlid and swap it for my Oscar but everytime you see them they're unsexable due to the size.
