Im Scared........should I Be?

Hello all,
I was looking at my tank today and where I can't get to with my magfloat there is a small amount of algae growing this could be to do with having no snails as my hermits murdered them . But any way if I was to put my hand in to clean it would I be horribly mauled to death by my clowns or will they be nice and gentle. If I put my hand in the tank its like a bloomin death trap poisonous zoas and bristle worms and ravenous clowns.

On another not im almost at 1000 posts.

i would imagine that it all depends on if you introduce food by hand, so that the clowns associate your hand with food, you do know that the zoas and worms wont actually jump out and attack you but make sure you have no open cuts on your hand or wear some latex gloves, but just to be doubly doubly sure get someone else to do it for you i know people need to take a certain amount of care putting their hands in a marine tank but its not exactly a house of horror you know. i'm on 1033

I always thought id be far too scared to put my hands in a marine tank too... but now I have one, i'm always dishing my hands in!! I found a 3" urchin in some new LR yesterday and just grabbed it without even knowing what it was lmao... then I found out those spines hurt after!

+1 forgot about those, nasty little monsters - they bite as well as constrict, people used to think they were a myth but..............

Could all be the same species depending on what you put in the tank. Now that I've heard about genital shredders from you, Sorgan, I'm a little concerned about what goes into your tank...

And food! Best not to go mashing one's hands in a bag of almost-off raw seafood just before doing bare-handed tank maintenance. Not that I have ever done such an obviously foolish thing...
