Hello! Just wondering if anyone has seen an endler like this before and if it has a name? It’s not a good photo, in real life it’s almost rainbow coloured with black markings. Tail fin is yellow/orange moving to pink / green on the tail itself, turquoise on the body with an orange stripe and black spot. I bought some female endlers in October and it came in the bag as fry. The other males that have been born are black flame and black bar. Just have one of these so far. Thank you!

I can't help with the colour form but it's a pretty fish with good markings.

One of our members @emeraldking is a livebearer specialist and might know.

This is a mix that´s got cobra guppy influence. It´s not a specific strain if that´s what you´re asking. Most of the time when you mix a cobra guppy (no matter the color) with an endler, you'll get similar looking phenotypes like this. Looking at the shape of the tail, the guppy influence is very dominant. Only the size will be smaller than an average fancy guppy.

Thank you, yes was wondering if it was a particular strain / has a name, as it’s my favourite fish and would like to buy more! It’s so pretty! Am hoping one of my female endlers is the mum of this one and more boys will show up soon.

Give it time and hope for the best that more like him will show up...
