Ditto...... just be careful..... it has several sharp edges! ... (from experience)...... also makes grunting noises when out of water.

does it sound like a vibrating mobile ludwig? when i got those pictus a few back, had them in a poly box, they were all vibrating,i thought it was my mobile, hunted high and low for the thing<which was left in car

Definitely not Synodontis nigriventis, and looking at the images on PlanetCatfish, I'd say Synodontis robbianus was a good match!

If it is, it's an unusual fish to find!
