Thought another fish had some whitepots.

They are not white spots just brighter spots that are the same colour as the fish.

You can wait for more spots to appear or start treating now.

I would rather catch it early. Do I need to add the full dose because of the plec? Also will it be ok with the Bacteria Med, do I continue the bacteria med (next dose is due on Mon).

Not really meant to mix some meds.
You could do a water change and run some black carbon and medicate tomorrow.
There a risk if you use the whitespot med with the interpet med.

If its the waterlife med for whitespot you can use full dose with plecs.

Right so stick some carbon in, wait 24 hours, stop the interpet and start waterlife? I assume that weird fluffy stuff on the Tetra is also whitespot then?

The spot didn't look like whitespot with the fluff.
But whitespot meds can sometimes get rid of the fluffy fungus.
Sorry about all this you just add a med and then it looks like there broke out in whitespot.

You could run the carbon now and do the water change before you add the med.

Its fine TBH if it wasn't for you I would not have known where to start

I will start whitespot tomorrow then, just one more question (for now) I have two filters running on my tank and only have Carbon for the internal, would it be better to switch the external off or will it be ok?

Can you add some carbon to the other filter aswell.
You need to keep both filter running. If you turn the other filter off the beneifical bacteria will die off.

I dont have any carbon for the external unfortunately.

I just cut carbon pads up.
Ok it should be ok. Just keep the filter running.
The carbon should remove most of the med and then the water change will dilute the rest down.
Dosn't matter to much if there was abit left behind.
