Ich Treatment

LOL Sorry.
If there any changes.
They could break out in whitespot but I would just hold of meds for now.

Did you add the bag water to the tanks aswell.

Oh ok.

Many Thanks For You Help. I assume it is not worth starting the meds before any spots appear (if they have it) just to be on the safe side?

Thanks again.
Mike

Its up to you if you want to add the med there your fish.
I just think it best to treat when you know what you are treating for.

Just noticed that. Yes I added the water from the back when adding the fish I thought you were supposed to otherwise how would you introduce the fish?

Mike

Hey,
Right I have literally just taken these fish are the two that as flashing, can you see the thing on the Tetras tail and the two shiny dots on the platy? The Tetra also looks like it is trying to rub its chin?

If the spots are the size of a grain of salt I would start treating for whitespot.

Can't make much out in the pics. can you describe what you see on the other fish.

Its best to avoid adding lfs bag water.
You can clamitise them in a bucket with a heater so you don't have to add the lfs bag water to the tank.
They I just netted them after adding tank water and place the fish in the tank.

Looks kinda white and fluffy, bigger than a grain of salt.

If it was and fluffy it sounds like columnaris. Fish can also flick and rub with columnaris.
Any redness to the spots.

Do the spots look like whitespot to you or different.

Got to go soon as I have an appointment at the doctors.

Need the platy pic taken with the spots aswell.

Is it possible to go the lfs and get some meds.
The only whitespot med you can use with bacterial meds is esha.
Esha exit whitespot med.
Esha 2000 bacterial med.

I can't see the spots. Sorry.

eSHa Exit
Anti Whitespot Treatment

eSHa EXIT is an effective treatment against all 'Spot' (Ich) diseases. EXIT also cures Velvet.

EXIT can be used in combination with 'eSHa 2000 - Fungus, Finrot and Bacteria Treatment'. This combination provides you with a broadly effective tool to treat most diseases your fish will encounter.

Acts fast against Whitespot and other Spot Parasites
Safe for use with sensitive tropical fish
Treats 1000 litres. (220 gal.)

The reason why you need both meds is that if you treat for colummaris and the fish break out in whitespot at least you can use the 2 meds together.
