I Would Like Your Opnion - Experienced Or Not.

Im not grouping everyone mate, just trying to get the ones who are to set in thier ways to try and understand its not always about them. and when people need help, dont discard them cos they want to do summat u dont agree with when knowledge they have could at least help the newbies more.

Alright, it's just a personal OCD thing, but I'd appreciate if you'd make it clearer not everyone here does it. Just a personal OCD thing, no harm meant.

cor blimey mate, its not irrelevant.lol a guy asked about putting a fish in a tank that is deemed to small! its in the same ballpark yes?

i agreed about what has been said in the facts etc. i must be writing everything down in the wrong way.

a serious question that may have been overlooked and i shall ask again....

can i therefore divide a 16 us gallon tank into 32 sections and house 32 betta's each with 1/2 a gallon with the correct care?

and now i will ask in another way....

i have a 16 us gallon tank and i want to divide it into 32 sections to house 32 betta's.ive read that with the correct care i can achieve this. is 1/2 a gallon of water ok for a betta long term? will it stress the bettas out? is it somthing you would recommend doing?

If the 60 litres was spread out with a big surface area then why not? (but your tank is prob cubed not really long and a 6" tall is it..

Silly qustion really cos you would be stacking in a cubed tank which is just stupid. and not even possible.
nope its 24 x 12 x 13 rectangular.

It is irrelivant, ARE U NOT LISTENING?

Clowns = marine = lots of stuff need to be put in a (example 5G tank) not much room left after all in.

Betta = freshwater = small heater, (not even a heater depending on location) loads of room still left.

BettySplendens: At what age do you start the jarring process?

Sieg: As soon as they start fighting, around eight weeks old, then they go to 5 gallon tanks, separated in 6 compartments.

1/2 10 Betta tank

20 x 10x 6 tall with 8 - 5 x 5 compartments. Dividers are clear or black acrylic. See acrylic aquariums if you need them shiped via UPS.

1/2 15 Betta Tank

24 x 12 x 6 tall with 10 - 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 compartments. Dividers are clear or black acrylic. See acrylic aquariums if you need them shipped via UPS.

I think it depends on the actual footprint & tank depth. Those are half height tanks, half of standard height. If your tank is shallow enough others do it, with a bit of research there is no reason you couldn't do it as well.

advice given to someone asking about housing a fish in a tank deemed by me and others to be too small. your question was

'' imagine .....

Im a new member, im telling you that i have no option than use a 2G tank cos thats all i can have...

Would you ignore me? would you say then you cant have a betta unless you get a bigger tank? or would you guide me on to take the best care possible for my betta in a 2g tank?''

yes its not the same fish. same bloody question though  :fun:

my question answered then. madness!

yes its not the same fish. same bloody question though  :fun:

its the same question that requires two completely different answer due to one being tropical and one being marine.

Marine tanks need so much more in the tank than tropical.

And the fish require different things

Edited, yes your question is answered by tolak, and no its not madness, its a way of doing things and with care can be done properly

yes i accept that. but you asked me what i would do in the same circumstances and i showed you. yes i know its marine but along the same lines!

plecman, retire the thread.. your not doing nothing to help or being constructive in anyway.

You was not giving a opinion though, u maybe started that way, then u got judgmental, clever, argumentitive and everything we was saying was not really sinking in cos u only want to believe what u want.

Thanks.

i was trying to understand why it is ok to put a betta in a 1/2 gallon tank. my argument was mainly with you about my link but ok. the forum admins can remove all that i have said from your informative thread.

in future you may not want to ask for everyones point of view.seems im still a newbie and must walk away.

Its not like that at all, you was mocking what i was saying, i was explaining why marine and tropical was different but u carried on taking the mik.

You wasnt replying asking why are they and how do i figure, u was mocking.

Sorry if i came across harsh, i know your new and that makes no difference, we all start somewhere and learning is all about having fun along the way too, surely u can see how u provoked some of my responces, but no harm intended and again i apologise if i have.

I would like u to continue reading and posting in the thread, but just a little respect and manners, and being constrictive is helpful when all where doing is trying to help people understand more about a situation that is coming up a lot on the forum.

i know it was answered, it was not a question. and im entitled to my opinion.

You most certainly are! If you have any sort of documentation to back up why you have that opinion it makes that opinion all the more reasonable.

Seeing as the title of this topic is "I Would Like Your Opnion - Experienced Or Not." I would think opinions would be expected.
