Jewel Cichlids would be far too aggressive, and a mature blue Acara would probably see the tankmates as food,
Paradise fish can be quite aggressive, in particular when you already have other labrynth fish i.e. gouramis and bettas
Kissing Gourami may work if you start off with a 1-2"" fish
Don't worry it'll soon grow, buying it small will just allow it to get used to smaller tankmates
