I Think Polo Is Dieing :(

he hasn't been himself since the breeding attempt. but now it looks like he is about gone :'( he's either been tail biting or Posidon got through then back again. i have separated him into a smaller tank with shallo water and lots of plants to rest on. he has eaten so i am hoping he will hang in there and get better whilst he is eating i am not giving up on him.

he's always first to come say hello in the mornings

Oh no Siobhan,- I didn't realise that Polo was that bad I pray that he pulls through for you. He is a very special little man. Hopefully his move may do the trick. Are you treating the water with anything? I've read on Roxy's website that she sells a betta tonic. Big hug for you hun xx

thanks guys he went down hill quite quickly. I am happy to say he is stil with me this morning and still made the effort to come say hello.

I am going to start him on a 5 day treatment today of Myxazin its a general all rounder

I honestly didn't think he would last the night but he's clearly not ready to give up so neither am i

started the treatment this morning with the addition of an airstone. he is having some bursts of energy where he is actually swimming around for a minute or so it doesn't sound like much but he hasn't swam for a few days before now. Hoping he pulls through if if does he is going to be spoilt with a nice new tank to sit on my desk or near the computer so he will get lots of attention

he is still eating and swimming about tomorrow will be day 3 of 5 treatment which has perked him up, he's certainly a fighter so am going to start looking for that tank i promised him

Hope all continues to go well for Polo, I'm thinking not only a new tank but lost of live food will be his best rewards.
