I Set Up A New 55gallon Tank And Have A Few Noob Questions.

You guys are saying filter media and i dont understand it, do i take the old filter and put it in the new filter set up?

filter media being sponges or anything you have IN the filter. Take them out n put them in the new filter

Filter media would be the tiny rocks or maybe carbon that goes in the filter pack/cartridge or as mentioned, the sponges. Basically anything in the filter that water would be passing throug or across.

Okay i put the pre filter of the old tank(sponge) in the new filter.
