lol how is keeping an eye on them going to help. When you look at fish, they magically feel safer !!!!

Grimster, what happened to your old fish?

and i hope your Convicts are the same sex, or your Corys may have a very stressful existence in your 29

Really, Convicts and Corys are not really the type of fish you want to be mixing, yes it can work sometimes i guess, but its not really something you wanna test out, especially in a 29 US Gallon

How comes you dont post for feedback before you get new fish, not that i am saying you HAVE to, but with all your other posts, it would make sense to ask first

Dont get me wrong, i still got a lot of time for you Grimster (when i have the time LOL) and will answer any PM you send, i wish you well.

i know nothing about convicts but the cories need to be in groups, but dont add anymore fish until the cycle is finished or they will die, what happened to the other fish?

ok i will my nitrites are lowering so is the ammonia

You should have continued with a fishless cycle then. :(

Oh well, what's done is done, just be sure to take good care of your new fish. :good:

I've stayed out of anything like this til now but:

It's all a bit ridiculous, at the end of the day if he wanted to take anybody's valuable advice on these forums he would have done so by now, the amount of times I've seen sooooo many people say 'Don't buy any more chemicals', 'Don't add any more fish', 'Sort out that stocking', 'please do a fishless cycle' etc etc. All of this is fantastic, very true advice that every beginner needs, but he just isn't listening!

Like Musho said, how can you take good care of your fish when the first thing you do is whack them in a tank with bad readings?! You can't!

I'm not going to plead with you Grimmy but if you're not going to take anybody's advice on this board then don't post, because people can't put up with ignorance for long, and you have already proved that you don't listen to any of the more experienced fish keepers on here.

no you haven't grimmy because if you had been listening you:

a) Wouldn't keep buying expensive chemicals that do nothing to help your tank cycle, and if anything, hinder it
B) You would have taken all your fish back and NOT BOUGHT ANYMORE, not taken them back and bought some different ones.
c) Followed the fantastic advice that people have on this forum about fishless cycling and stocking etc

If you had followed people's advice you would have had no fish in your tank at the moment, you would have been fishless cycling it and it would have been quicker, easier and better for the fish.

Dont be too hard on Grimmy people. Alot of people dont even bother to ask why and just do it and never learn. At least Grimmy is posting and asking for help. Grimmy will be learning from all this and we all made mistakes at the start. I still make em :D

Best to post ideas first though Grimmy, at least that way it saves you money and also saves the little fishies.

Might be best to start taking some of the advice on board though :p
