Hi and thank you for a very clear and concised post.

Also thank you from the F8 that I nearly got! Saw one in LFS and spent a very happy half hour with it following my finger back and forth the outside of its tank. I was in  It was with a mate in the LFS-regulation size 1 foot stock tank and I thought it would be great to have one or two in my fry tank (after moving on the fry!)

As my fry tank is a fully cycled and over filtered 34ltr (7 and a bit gallon?) I thought it was ideal untill reading your post.

Non starter isn't it? :-(

Any advice welcomed even if it's bad news. (I want someone to say, yeah it's ok to have a F8 in a 34ltr, but not at the expense of the fishs' well being)

Well, it's good enough for two Dwarf Puffers  and they are completely fresh water
