Watching fish.
This afternoon, came home from school to see my goldfish pooping out long stringy white stuff with a black tip.
After he pooped that out, he pooped a regular poop and then a small bit. I was pretty concerned, so I did a water change.

Now Piranha's bum is not looking good and i can't explain it.

The fish were freaking out, but now, they are all huddled up under my plastic plant and aren't looking good at all.

A small pinch of flakes each day, twice a day.
A treat of either bloodworms or tubifex every three days.

Are the goldfish still in the 8 gallon tank = It's actually around 15.
Can you post water stats please. See above.
Is the piranha in the same tank as the goldifsh. ...
The bum does it look enlarged or red and inflame: not really.
Any growths growing on the bum: It almost looks like a bump, I have no idea.
Any worms or intestines hanging from the bum: this "bump" may be one of those.

Also, they seem to never stop pooping. As soon as they are done of one, they have more.
Another thing is, I'm having an awful algae problem in my tank, there is brown algae everywhere and they peck at it, could this be a reason?

You need to get a bigger tank as the fish are just going to die of bad water quallity.
You need to get your water tested.
Water change and add some salt. I woud just add two table spoon of salt for now. Mix the salt in a jug of tank water till it disolves.

Feed some peas.

The lump does it look hard or soft like filled with fluid.
Any redness to the lump.

Well, the comets have slowed down, no more stringy stuff.
Although, the Shubunkin looks almost depressed, and the other ones keep bugging him, while he's trying to rest. He is swimming around less and when they are fed, he will get the food as fast as he can and go back to his spot.

And the lump doesn't look to bad, I'll check on it, but it doesn't seem to be bugging him.

He doesn't seem too too stressed out, because when he's stressed he'll show black on his fins, but when he's normal, it's a light brown, he's a mixture of it.

Simple - tank too small, water probably very poor. Get a test kit! Does your tank have a filter?
