A 75 gallon rectangular fish tank with stand!!! (Gonne be a Malawi tank for sure!!)

A 65 gallon Hexagon (Sorority maybe?)

Thought and opinions? I am open to suggestions on what to do with the hex, and the 55g that is NO LONGER gonna be the Malawi tank

Great B-day present. 75gallon is a good size tank. Im not a big fan of hexagon shaped tanks but maybe just look for some small fish to fill the top, middle, bottom. Female bettas n coryodoras will work.

I like hexes even though they are a pain. I have a 40 gallon livebearer community that is a hexagon. I have 4 cories in it (i LOVE cories, they are so adorable) about 16 platys (most are babies) and a male betta. The hardest part about them is scaping it, and it cuts out options as far as neons and other tetras. For slower moving fish, they work out really great, which is why I was leaning towards a big sorority house. I wouldnt feel right with a fast swimming fish in there. That is what I have a spare 55g tank for

I am starting to feel like a crazy fish lady lol. By the time everything is functioning, I will have a 75g, 65g, 55g, 40g, 10g, and two 5g betta tanks

Its Ok as long as you have time to take care of all of them. I use to have a 30g, 55g, 20g, 10g all running. But now I just have a 125g tank running. I figured its better to just decide which fish you really like(in my case Eel-like fish) and add tankmates based on them. I have to give up other fish that I like, like Puffer.

I was neglecting my other tanks when I used to have many tanks running. Now with just one tank, fish looks healthier, well taken care of, n having flat black bare bottom, vacuum cleaning on my 6ft tank takes 10 mins Well I just recently set-up a 5g Betta tank n a growout tank for my Bichir. Bare Bottom is just so easy to maintain. So might just keep running 2 tanks.

Good Luck with ur tanks, I used to have a sorority n cories too, until I decreased number of tanks.

The 40g and the 10g have minimal stocking and I spend maybe an hour of maintenance a week. Once a month I do an all out cleaning. I find it very therapeutic though. I have made my setup rather easy to do water changes and such. I spend more time watching them than maintaining them lol. I love it.

Tech a Amphibian, however fully aqautic, so cool with me, always wanted one, then found a group, couldnt pass it up, there quite hard to get a hold off..

Maxing around 20inches but some can get bigger,

My nephews keep saying, "hey uncle nelly, when those sock puppets arriving"
