As to the comments on age not being an excuse,, well it is common sence to most people that the younger you are, the more chance you wont think through or will buy impulively,, and the more likely you are toi make a bad decision. It is a fact of life and every teenager or younger does it,, I do it all the time and regret myself afterwards,, but I learn from it and move on. All i can say is im 16 so ive been there and still am there, and being nagged about it on this forum doesnt make me think any different about decisions when i go to make them, it just makes me not post half of what i wanna because you guys tear people apart that dont do things your way.

BUT i do agree that my lfs chain has 2 locations near me, one of which i would trust and one of which i prolly wouldnt for a water test.

i finished them already, anywho im a 14 year old without a testkit, i jsut use hte guy accorss the streets hahaha
Hes always home and im welcome to come, and my lfs use liquid test kit, the nutrafin master test kit, at 2x the price i see the API one i saw at petsmart(whcih costed $40 ..., theres a 3 cent diff. between CAD and USD, then why such big inflation of prices in Canada........................)
me i dont have a compeltetest kit, i just keep one for Ammonia and Nitrites(which i jsut bought they were on sale!), for nitrates i gotta run accross the street, but generally i do my wc's to keep it low and i usualy test before a wc so its all good.
FBT do your fish good and purchase a liquid test kit much for effective then strips which i tried once and never liked..
Oh and i gotta go dethaw some hotwings as well brb...
then go to the library and return books, and stop at hte lfs which is at the same place.
