I Spent $300-$400/each for some of my flowerhorns.

and of course Spent more than $1000/each before for Asian Aros. When they die....ugghhh....so hurt deep inside
i thot all you had was 20G-50G tanks?

for an aro?

Either $6 for my Clowns ($24 total) or a Pictus when I first started out and didn't realize what I was doing. It might have been $7 but I can't recall.

i paid 50$ can for a freshwater baracuda and i lucked out and got 1 of 3 baby arowana's shipped to my LFS for 20$ adulst that are about 12 inxches are 85$ at my LFS

I've paid about $25 for a fish before (can't remember what it was, though...)
I'd definitely be willing to spend more for the right fish, though. ;)

I paid $7 for my clowns. The most I paid for after I thought about it would really depend on the tank, and if I have the money. If I have those the sky is the limit.

I paid $60 for a saltwater fish. The blue hippo tang which is still happy today. Incase ppl here arent up on their swf, a blue hippo tang is dory from finding nemo.

I forgot saltwater fish. Id easly pay up to $100 for one once I get my setup this year...

For the right fish id willingly pay up to £500, probably more if i knew it was a one off never to be seen again species, though i would never spend more than £100 on any tank/comercially bred species.

So far the most i have paid is £100 for my ray plus between £50 and £100 for lots of my other fish.

I've paid $100 for a betta a few times. Most of mine have run an average of $40. When I started guppies, I paid $125 for 4 show quality trios with very pure genes.

I'm weird with it though, I'll pay big bucks for breeders, but I'm frugal with the rest :dunno:

I should've paid $14.99 for each of my German Blue Rams, but I'm lucky I have a friend working at the LFS. I spent $20 on the pair, and that's the most I've spent.
I did buy a trio of panda cories at almost $20.. two of them are now dead. And I don't have the money right now to get another two to keep the one company.. :(

$6.79 or thereabouts (US) for a male bristlenose, will probably spend that much getting him a girlfriend unless I find one cheaper somewhere... I have a hard time spending money on anything that isn't absolutely needed, whether it be clothes or anything, but it feels iffy spending it on something that could easily die for no good reason, or won't live more than a few years. But yet I still find myself buying fish....
